PART 3: HE ATTACKED THE WRONG WOMAN — AND FINALLY PAID THE PRICE
The police entered the restaurant and immediately began taking statements from the witnesses.
Several people had seen everything.
Others had recorded the incident on their phones.
The restaurant manager provided the security footage.
There was nowhere for the bully to hide from what had happened.
He was taken into custody for assault.
The restaurant fell quiet as he was escorted away.
But before he disappeared through the doors, he turned one last time toward the elderly woman.
She didn't look frightened anymore.
She simply looked at him.
Then she turned away.
Her son stood beside her.
He gently placed a hand on her shoulder.
"You don't have to be afraid anymore."
She looked up at him.
"I wasn't afraid of him."
Her son gave her a small smile.
"I know."
Behind them, the broken silence of the restaurant slowly began to lift.
The witnesses returned to their tables, still talking about what they had just seen.
Some shook their heads.
Others looked at the elderly woman with admiration.
A woman who had entered the restaurant as an ordinary grandmother had suddenly become the center of everyone's attention.
But she didn't seem interested in any of it.
She simply took her son's arm.
Together, they walked away from the bar.
The bully had thought he was hitting a helpless old woman.
He never imagined that one phone call would bring her son across the room in seconds.
And he certainly never imagined that the entire restaurant would become a witness to the moment his arrogance finally caught up with him.
