The arena lights cut through the haze, flooding the UFC Octagon with brilliant white beams. The crowd roared as anticipation filled every corner of the packed venue.
Then the announcer's voice thundered through the speakers.
"Helen 'War Mother' Carter!"
Standing in the center of the cage, Helen remained perfectly still.
Dressed in black fight gear with her silver hair tightly braided, she looked calm, composed, and completely unfazed by the noise around her.
The audience quickly noticed her.
Whispers turned into laughter.
One young fan pointed toward the Octagon and joked to his friends,
"What's so funny? She's older than my grandma!"
The people around him burst into laughter.
Helen didn't react.
She simply glanced at the clock, then quietly murmured to herself,
"Late again..."
There wasn't a trace of fear on her face.
