PART 2 — SHE ONLY ASKED FOR ONE CHANCE

The theater became quieter.
The elderly woman's face was shown in close-up.
Every wrinkle seemed to carry a lifetime of memories.
Her eyes glistened with tears as she looked down at the old violin in her hands.
She gently lifted it.

Slowly, she placed the violin against her shoulder.
Then she carefully raised the bow.
Her hands were steady despite the emotion in her eyes.
She looked toward the man in the suit.
There was no anger in her expression.
No desire to argue.
Only a quiet determination.
Then she softly said,
"Give me a chance."
The simple words seemed to hang in the air.
Nobody laughed.
Nobody interrupted her.
The elderly woman took a slow breath.
She adjusted the violin beneath her chin.
Then she positioned the bow over the strings.
The man in the suit watched silently.
The audience waited.
For several seconds, the entire theater seemed frozen.
The elderly woman closed her eyes briefly.
She wasn't trying to prove that she was young.
She wasn't trying to impress anyone.
She simply wanted one opportunity to let her music speak for her.
Then she slowly opened her eyes.
May you like
The bow touched the strings.
And the room fell completely silent.
