PART 2 — THE MAN WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD

The arena remained completely silent.
More than twenty thousand people stared at the octagon, unable to understand what they had just witnessed.
Marcus "The Reaper" Kane.
The undefeated heavyweight champion.
The man who had knocked out twenty-eight opponents in a row.
Had just backed away from a fight without throwing a single punch.
Fans began arguing with each other.
Commentators searched desperately for answers.
Social media exploded within seconds.
But the mysterious man never explained who he was.
He simply turned around and walked away from the cage.
Then everything changed.
A sharp alarm echoed through the backstage corridors.
Not a fire alarm.
A security lockdown.
Arena personnel froze.
Within moments, every exit door automatically locked.
The giant screens inside the arena displayed a simple message:
EVENT TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED. PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR SEATS.
Confused fans looked around.
Nobody knew what was happening.
Backstage, Head of Security Richard Hayes rushed into the command center.
One of his officers pointed toward a surveillance monitor.
"Sir... he's heading toward Tunnel C."
Hayes didn't answer.
A secure notification had just appeared on his encrypted government tablet.
CLASSIFIED ACCESS ONLY
He opened the file.
A photograph filled the screen.
The same man in the gray hoodie.
Underneath it were only three lines.
NAME: ETHAN CROSS
STATUS: DECEASED
DECLARED DEAD: FIFTEEN YEARS AGO
Hayes stared at the screen in disbelief.
Before he could speak, the command center door swung open.
Four men wearing dark suits entered without hesitation.
No introductions.
No agency names.
Only calm expressions.
The leader quietly placed a silver federal credential on the table.
Hayes looked at it.
His face immediately lost all color.
"You've been tracking him..."
he whispered.
The man nodded once.
"For fifteen years."
"And tonight..."
"He finally stepped into the light."
Without another word, the agents took control of the entire security room.
Every surveillance camera inside the arena switched to one target.
Ethan Cross.
Meanwhile, Ethan continued walking calmly through the empty fighter tunnel.
He never looked behind him.
He never hurried.
As if he already knew they were coming.
Suddenly—
A young heavyweight fighter stepped into his path.
He was undefeated in a regional promotion and eager to prove himself.
"You embarrassed the champion."
"Now tell me who you really are."
Ethan stopped.
His expression never changed.
The fighter lunged forward.
In one smooth movement, Ethan sidestepped, redirected the attack, and pinned the man harmlessly against the wall before gently releasing him.
The entire exchange lasted less than two seconds.
No punches.
No unnecessary violence.
Only perfect control.
Several security officers watched in stunned silence.
One quietly muttered,
"That's not an MMA fighter..."
"That's military training."
At the opposite end of the arena, Marcus sat alone inside his private locker room.
His championship belt rested untouched beside him.
His hands trembled.
For the first time in years...
He looked afraid.
Fragments of forgotten memories flooded back.
Seattle.
Fifteen years earlier.
Gunfire.
A burning warehouse.
Six men.
Only one was never supposed to survive.
A soft knock interrupted his thoughts.
An envelope slowly slid beneath the locker-room door.
Marcus picked it up.
Inside was a single photograph.
Six men standing together.
Five faces were crossed out with thick red ink.
Only one remained untouched.
Marcus Kane.
On the back of the photograph were eight handwritten words.
"I never forgot what happened in Seattle."
Marcus's breathing stopped.
Nobody...
Absolutely nobody...
Was supposed to know about Seattle.
Across the arena, Ethan finally entered a dark equipment room.
He closed the door behind him.
From inside his old duffel bag, he removed another photograph.
It showed the same six men.
This time, four faces had already been crossed out.
Only two remained.
Marcus Kane.
And one other man whose face had been completely scratched away.
Ethan stared at the picture for several seconds.
Then quietly whispered,
"You're next."
At that exact moment—
The arena lights suddenly went out.
Emergency red lights began flashing across every corridor.
A voice echoed through the public-address system.
"Security breach detected."
"All personnel remain in position."
Inside the darkness...
Someone quietly opened the equipment-room door.
A familiar voice spoke from the shadows.
"Ethan..."
May you like
"It's time you learned who betrayed all of us."
The screen cuts to black.
