PART 2 : Bullying the Wrong Person
Part 2
The instant Vanessa grabbed Kate's sneaker, her wrist twisted violently.
It happened so fast that no one in the yard even understood what they had just seen.
One second, Vanessa was grinning.
The next, she was on one knee, her arm locked behind her back while Kate stood perfectly balanced, barely breathing harder than before.
A sharp gasp swept through the prison yard.
"What...?"
"Did you see that?"
"She never even hit her!"
Kate released the hold and calmly stepped backward.
"I told you not to touch me."
Vanessa stared at her in disbelief.
No one had ever embarrassed her like that.
Especially not in front of the entire prison.
Her face turned crimson.
"You little—"
With a furious scream, Vanessa charged like a bull, throwing all of her weight toward the smaller woman.
The inmates immediately scattered, expecting blood.
Instead...
Kate simply sidestepped.
Vanessa missed completely.
Her momentum carried her straight into a concrete picnic table.
CRACK!
The impact echoed across the yard.
Vanessa stumbled, barely staying on her feet.
Laughter began to spread.
At first only one inmate chuckled.
Then another.
Within seconds dozens of women were laughing.
Vanessa had never been laughed at before.
That hurt far worse than the collision.
"You think that's funny?"
She grabbed a metal folding chair sitting nearby and raised it over her head.
Several correctional officers shouted from across the yard.
"Vanessa! Drop it!"
She ignored them.
Every inmate knew she had crossed a dangerous line.
Assaulting another inmate with a weapon meant months in solitary confinement.
But Vanessa didn't care.
She swung the chair directly at Kate's head.
The chair never landed.
Kate stepped inside the swing, caught the frame with both hands, twisted it sideways, and the chair flew out of Vanessa's grip.
It clattered across the concrete.
Before anyone could blink, Vanessa found herself flat on her back.
Kate had used nothing but technique.
No punches.
No kicks.
No unnecessary force.
Just precise, controlled movements.
Silence returned.
Even the correctional officers froze for a second.
One officer whispered,
"How did she do that?"
Another officer looked at Kate more carefully.
Then his expression suddenly changed.
"Wait..."
He recognized something.
Earlier that morning, while reviewing the new arrival's intake paperwork, he had noticed an unusual restriction attached to her transfer file.
The document had been stamped in bold red letters:
SPECIAL SECURITY TRANSFER.
At the time, he assumed she had been involved in organized crime.
Now he wasn't so sure.
Vanessa slowly pushed herself off the ground.
For the first time in years...
She looked afraid.
Kate didn't celebrate.
She didn't taunt her.
She simply brushed the dust off her prison uniform.
"I don't want problems," she said quietly.
"But if someone attacks me..."
She looked directly into Vanessa's eyes.
"...I finish it."
The words were calm.
Almost gentle.
Yet somehow they sounded more terrifying than any threat Vanessa had ever made.
The officers rushed in and separated everyone before another fight could begin.
As Vanessa was escorted away, inmates surrounded the officers with questions.
"Who is she?"
"What did she do before prison?"
"Was she military?"
"Some kind of assassin?"
No one answered.
That evening, rumors exploded throughout every housing unit.
Some claimed Kate had been an undercover federal agent.
Others insisted she had worked as a bodyguard for powerful politicians.
One inmate swore she had seen military tattoos hidden beneath Kate's sleeves.
By lights out, everyone had a different story.
But only one person actually knew the truth.
The prison warden.
Inside his office, he quietly opened Kate's confidential file again.
He read the first page.
Then the second.
His face slowly lost all color.
He immediately picked up the phone.
"I need additional security around Cell Block C."
A pause.
Then he added in a much quieter voice,
"And make absolutely sure inmate Vanessa never comes near Kate again."
The person on the other end asked,
"Why? Is the new inmate that dangerous?"
The warden looked once more at the final page of the file.
His hands trembled.
"You have no idea who we just admitted."
Outside his office window, Kate sat alone in the recreation yard, watching the sunset as if nothing unusual had happened.
She had no interest in becoming the strongest inmate.
She only wanted to serve her sentence in peace.

Unfortunately...
The secret hidden inside her file was about to change the entire prison forever.
