The realization hit Damian like a physical blow. He lunged across the courtyard and snatched the phone off the wooden table. The live feed was still running, and the viewer count was climbing by the thousands every second. Serena’s private broadcast had been streamed directly to her high-society blog and shared onto major digital platforms, captioned: "Dealing with a difficult, ungrateful mother-in-law. #Patience."
The comments section was a toxic wasteland. Half of the socialites in our circle were laughing, while others were expressing horror. But what Serena hadn’t realized in her arrogance was that the phone's wide-angle lens had captured everything—including the exact moment Damian had marched down the stairs, her panicked confession, and the clear evidence of physical abuse.
"Turn it off, Damian! That's my private property!" Serena shrieked, running back out of the house as she realized she had left her phone behind.
Damian didn't turn it off. Instead, he lifted the phone, looking directly into the camera lens. His face was a mask of cold, unyielding iron.
"My name is Damian Kingsley," he spoke into the live stream, his voice booming with absolute authority. "And what you have all just witnessed is the unprovoked assault of my elderly mother by my now-former fiancée, Serena Vance. This stream will remain active as a public record, and I am personally offering a one-million-dollar reward to any legal entity or investigative body that assists in ensuring she faces the absolute maximum penalty under the law."

Serena stopped dead in her tracks on the gravel driveway, the color completely draining from her face. "Damian, no! Shut it down! I was just making a joke! It was a prank video for my followers!"
"The police are already on their way, Serena," Damian said smoothly, finally cutting the feed and pocketing the device. "And by tomorrow morning, every corporate sponsor, every high-society board, and every elite venue associated with your name will receive a copy of this unedited footage."
