VT- FULL: THEY MOCKED THE ELDERLY DANCE CREW… UNTIL THE MUSIC STARTED
PART 1 — THEY LAUGHED AT THE ELDERLY DANCE CREW… UNTIL THE MUSIC STARTED
The stage of a major American talent competition glittered beneath brilliant spotlights. A massive star-shaped backdrop towered over the performers as the audience waited for the next act.
A group of elderly dancers walked onto the stage, led by a silver-haired man who stood straight and confidently despite his age. Behind him, several older women took their positions, their expressions calm and focused.

Across from them stood a young male dancer dressed in blue, surrounded by his younger teammates. He folded his arms, smirked, and looked the elderly performers up and down.
“You really think you can dance with us?” he asked mockingly.
A few people in the audience laughed.
The elderly leader didn't argue. He didn't lower his head or try to defend himself. He simply met the young dancer's gaze.
“Just give us a chance,” he replied.
The young man exchanged amused looks with his teammates before gesturing toward the center of the stage.
“All right, show us what you've got.”
The electronic music began to build.
The elderly dancers quietly moved into position, their eyes fixed on the floor ahead. The silver-haired leader raised one hand, giving his team a final signal.
For a moment, the entire stage seemed to hold its breath.
