Part 2 — They Attacked Her Son Without Knowing Who He Was

The bully's hand was just reaching for the woman's phone when a deep voice suddenly came from behind him.
"Take your hands off my mother."
The bully stopped.
Slowly, he turned around.
The elderly woman's son was standing only a few yards away.
The same bald man from the executive room.
Dark sunglasses.
Sharp grey suit.
A cold, controlled expression.
For a moment, the three men stared at him.
Then the bully laughed.
"So you're the son?"
His two friends burst out laughing behind him.
The bully stepped toward the man, completely unafraid.
"You came all the way here for this old woman?"
The man's eyes moved briefly toward his mother.
She was still sitting on the bench, trembling, tears running down her cheeks.
Then he looked at the shattered guitar scattered across the pavement.
His jaw tightened.
"Step away from her."
The bully smirked.
"Or what?"
Instead of backing down, the bully suddenly charged at him.
His two friends rushed forward at the same time.
The man stood his ground.
The first thug swung at him, but the man blocked the attack and drove him backward.
The second rushed in from the side.
The man turned and knocked him off balance.
The bully came at him again.
This time, the man stopped him cold and forced him back across the pavement.
The three men had started the fight believing they were dealing with one angry businessman.
They quickly realized they had made a terrible mistake.
The bully stumbled backward, breathing heavily.
His confidence was gone.
The man walked toward him.
"You wanted to know who she was calling."
He stopped directly in front of him.
"Now you know."
The bully looked toward the broken guitar.
Then toward the terrified woman on the bench.
