Part 2: The Rotten Apple Began to Change... And the Entire Theater Forgot How to Breathe
The audience stared in complete silence.
No one laughed anymore.
The rotten apple trembled gently on the wooden table.
One judge leaned forward.
"Is someone controlling it?"
Another quietly looked beneath the table.
There were no wires.
No hidden devices.
No assistants.
The elderly woman never touched the apple.
She simply held one hand above it.
Slowly...
The black, mold-covered skin began to crack.
Tiny flakes fell onto the tabletop.
The wrinkles in the fruit started disappearing.
The foul smell that had filled the front rows faded away.
Gasps echoed across the theater.
"Wait... it's changing."
"How is she doing that?"
Phones that had been recording as a joke were now capturing every second in stunned silence.
Within moments...
The shriveled, rotten apple had transformed into a perfectly fresh, glossy red apple.
It looked as though it had just been picked from an orchard.
The audience erupted into applause.
But the old woman wasn't finished.
She calmly picked up the apple.
Smiled at the judges.
Then sliced it cleanly in half with a small pocketknife.
The inside was flawless.
Crisp.
Juicy.
Perfectly fresh.
One judge walked onto the stage to inspect it.
He turned the apple over several times.
"No fake shell..."
"No hidden compartments..."
He looked back at the audience in disbelief.
"I honestly have no idea how she did this."
The crowd exploded into cheers.
People who had laughed only moments earlier were now standing and applauding.
The judges exchanged stunned glances.
One of them smiled.
"I've seen hundreds of illusionists on this stage..."
"But I've never seen anything like this."

The elderly woman quietly placed the two apple halves back on the table.
Then she looked toward the audience with a mysterious smile.
