It was a busy Saturday afternoon at a modern indoor trampoline park in Columbus, Ohio.

A group of teenagers were having fun on a large trampoline area, performing spins, jumps, and playful flips while their friends laughed and recorded them on their phones.

Then an elderly man walked over.

He was 78 years old, with neatly combed silver hair, a warm smile, and a navy athletic tracksuit.

He stopped beside the trampoline and watched the teenagers for a few seconds.

They were jumping higher and higher, showing off for one another.

The old man smiled.

Then he pointed toward the trampoline.

“Hey kids, mind if the old man gives it a shot?”

The teenagers looked at him.

For a moment, nobody said anything.

Then one of them laughed.

Another teenager looked at his friends with an amused expression.

They clearly weren't expecting an elderly man to join them.

One of the teenagers stepped off the trampoline and looked at him.

“Are you sure, sir? Take it easy!”

The others moved aside.

Some were smiling.

Some were already reaching for their phones.

The old man simply nodded.

He stepped closer to the trampoline.

He didn't look nervous.

He didn't try to impress anyone.
